Today, on the occasion of World Health Day, thyroid screenings were conducted at the District Police Office, Parsa premises. More than 120 police officers underwent thyroid screening.

Due to factors such as busy schedules, lack of awareness, unhealthy eating habits, and stress, there is a significant risk of thyroid problems among police personnels. Therefore, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Jha, coordinator of Sano Paila Health Services, emphasized the importance of providing information about thyroid-related issues to ensure the safety of the public and to provide testing and treatment methods if diagnosed.
