Our School of Women’s Entrepreneurship trainees were at the Hatti-Hatti Nepal, today.
On the sixth day of the orientation week, the trainees at Hatti-Hatti Nepal, today learnt about sustainable business practices, gained hands-on experience in design and production, and observed how a social enterprise operates. This visit provided them with valuable insights into how to combine entrepreneurship with social impact, particularly in the context of empowering women through skill development. It was an opportunity for them to see firsthand how the skills they are about to learn could be applied in a real-world setting.
Hatti-Hatti Nepal is a social enterprise that focuses on empowering marginalized women in Nepal through skill development and entrepreneurship. Founded in 2015, Hatti Hatti provides training to women from disadvantaged backgrounds, teaching them sewing and design skills.
We would like to thank Ms. Sajna Jirel and the entire team of Hatti-Hatti Nepal for their cooperation.
