Sano Paila’s School of Women’s Entrepreneurship
We’re launching a School of Women’s Entrepreneurship (SWE)! ✨**
Imagine Gudiya, a survivor of violence, crafting the most beautiful jewelry you’ve ever seen. Or Sabitri, deaf and full of creativity, weaving baskets that tell stories.
That’s the power of the School of Women’s Entrepreneurship (SWE)! This amazing project will empower vulnerable women in Nepal’s Madhesh and Bagmati provinces with:
🔧 Skill development: Jewelry-making and basket-weaving training centers built in Parsa and Lalitpur districts.
🌐 Entrepreneurship & social empowerment: Building confidence and business skills for sustainable success.
💰 Microfinance: Providing access to funding to launch and grow their ventures.
🌍 Market access: Connecting entrepreneurs with the right markets to showcase their beautiful creations.
SWE targets historically marginalized communities, survivors of violence, and differently-abled individuals. By equipping them with tools and knowledge, we aim to break free from past constraints and pave the way for a brighter future.
And it doesn’t stop there! Our social venture, Kaasya, features crafts made by these incredible women, shining a light on human trafficking and giving them the platform they deserve.
Huge thanks to Give2Asia and Steamboat Ventures Social Enterprise Fund for making SWE possible! Together, we can create a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive. 💪✨
