As we always say, we are on a mission to ensure that the needs of the most vulnerable are met, we really mean it.
Today, on the 3rd of June, Thursday, Sano Paila in collaboration with Hamro Sano Prayas and the Institute for Nepal distributed ration supplies to 16 families in Baluwagadha of Kailali.
The families make their living in a temporary tent under the open sky as their houses have been demolished due to the flood and landslide. Some families even went to the neighboring state of India as refugees as they couldn’t found any temporary shelter to live in or little support from the local authority in Baluwagadha.
We tried to ease their difficulties by distributing some ration supplies. The ration supplies that could support for a month were distributed to the families. We hope the concerned authority will take immediate action and ensure their constitutional rights for a dignified life.
We would like to thank our partner World Bank Group Staff for joining our initiation in fighting the hunger amid this unprecedented time.
This is a people campaign. All for one, one for all.
